Shays Media’s Fit Check, manual review and recommendations are independent assessments.

They do not constitute approval by OpenAI. OpenAI retains control over advertiser eligibility, campaign acceptance, advertising delivery and policy enforcement.

Platform control

Shays Media does not control:

• OpenAI advertiser eligibility decisions;
• campaign acceptance or rejection;
• available inventory;
• auction/delivery outcomes;
• platform features;
• reporting availability;
• platform policies or their enforcement;
• changes to the ChatGPT Ads product.

Recommendations versus platform requirements

The website distinguishes, where material, between:

• OpenAI requirements supported by current official platform/policy information; and
• Shays Media recommendations based on commercial judgement and the way Shays Media chooses to manage testing.

For example, a Shays Media recommended testing budget is not an OpenAI platform minimum.

Stopping a campaign can be a successful management decision.

Shays Media does not continue managing an account simply to retain a monthly management fee when the evidence no longer supports continued advertising.

Changing information

ChatGPT Ads are developing. Platform availability, policies, bidding options, budgets, reporting, targeting/relevance signals and other requirements may change.

Platform-sensitive website content should display a review date where appropriate. Shays Media rechecks material platform information before relying on it for client decisions.
